There has been a afk cloaker in popular mining system for some time now and reason why i opened topic for this was because most of older topics were closed.
I totaly understand that stealth bombers are tactical part of the pvp and fleet fights, but the way how they can also be used purely to ruin others way of income. This nice fella is a good example http://postimg.org/image/z5vfww2bn/ (this is indeed null sec so he dont hav any realistic risk of losing hes ship if he ganks someone)
I dont know hows brain fart it was to make cloaking time infinite, but i dont think it should be too hard to fix.
For example there could be a cycle time in cloaking systems or stealthers could be probed there are numerous ways of fixing this.
Thing what im amazed is that ccp havent done anything to this, unless if this is the way how bombers are ment to play. (some of the topics were from 2010 http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=1305952 )
There was a arquement in forums that "you should fly a tanked ships" well i dont even see how you can fit a mining barge/exhumer that it will survive stealth bombers attack.

Even if you bring your friend kills the bomber hes still feelings himself a realy succesful person.
Like i stated above risk of blowing up is a minimal.
This aint the issue thou, issue is that they can prevent people from earning their isk just by logging in and going afk, since you cant mine or you can mine but you will surely lose your ship when the afk cloaker happens to come back.
I hav myself 3 miners and orca booster and just 1 tard can stop me from earning isk what i need for plexes, even i think the eve is greatest game i hav ever played and want to support CCP im not going to pay 60e each month just that i can give some depraved tard hes fun.
CCP please do something about afk cloakers, there are always dicks who exploit things like this when you let them.

Then move out of nullsec and go to Highsec .... No cloakers there just gankers.
So i should move out because of some ******** game mechanic? So things cant be changed? If someone dont hav to wipe drool from your cheek every 2 minutes, you should understand that this is game mechanic what can easily be changed so that it dont prevent miners being totaly blocked.
So you are requesting CCP to change their game mechanics to suit your desired brain dead, isk grind play style so that you don't have to pay CCP any money. Ok.
Brain dead? its not that no matter how i watch the screen i cant survive a stealth bomber attack, since first time i see him is when i get scrambler and shot down in 10-15s. There is no pvp, there is no counter measures its just watching your ship being blown up.

Sure hes not a treath when hes afk, but if he happens to come back one in 60 minutes to check for anyone who hav dared to go mining. If you wanna gamble whit your mining ships then go ahead, but if you lose mining ship every 2-3 hours its gonna cost you way more than you make, where is the risk/isk value there? |
